Healthy living support: Everything starts with a mother

Now, I do not like or have the time and level of concentration to sit and read for too long. Even if I am addicted to reading. Too much information at once have me totally messed up and let m lie awake at night to try to make sense of it all. So! I would like to take you on a journey. Little of my story, little of my experiences and what I have read about. Give you enough time to read, digest, read up and share your own info with all of us.

"We should have time to take a step back and look for the connections between things"

I am not a medical Dr. Was a nurse working in different ICU's. Passionate about healthy living and personalized medicine. I do not make diagnosis or recommend medical treatment. I share Information, either read about or personal experiences or share an opinion. My support is not profitable and I do not advertise any product or try to promote their financial benefits. I give an opinion and you make of it what you want to. I love a well-constructed debate. I respect all cultures, believes, age and gender.

Everybody has a story to tell. His/her own unique story, living uniquely, experienced uniquely and from outside it looks like an easy life or too hard life according to the people looking into  this story, but it is how the people lived his own story. We all have to respect it. I disagree with the fact that people tells you that you should stop moaning, cause there is people worse off than you. I share my story with you, not because I want you to know me better or let you pry into my personal life or to bring up the past and highlight the faults of the past or accuse anybody for the wrong.

I would like you to read between the lines. I would like to wake up something in you to look at your own story. I want you to see the irony, the reasons, the causes, the symptoms, what should make sense, the treatment, where you need more knowledge and ask more questions, thin about changes and different choices. Maybe come to the realization that life in total has changed.

My goal: I would like to help people of all walks of life. Make the "load" lighter and help them to find direction, where to search for causes and find solutions. Not to panic when illness strikes and not to just go for a quick fix solution. Be prepared! Let people feel that there is other people in the same situation or with past experience. I would like people to dig deeper. Making friends all over the world in different walks of life, because somewhere, someone know something you did not know.

My dream: To support people, in gaining knowledge. To prevent being sick and weak. TO LIVE LIFE IN TOTAL. To not just except diagnosis/treatment, but to ask questions and make sure the causes got treated and not just a quick fix around the symptoms. Debate around newly found research. Ensure people make their own unique choices around medicine and healthy living in general. To get closer and more personal with your own being. To understand the concept: "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT"! Then maybe spread the word to more corporate worlds to get better products easily available.

I want you today to think where do you come from? Where did all of YOU start?

My story: Everything for me started with MY MOTHER. Inside her body I was conceived. Her hormonal changes secured my total development. Her per-pregnant lifestyle/body became my home for 9 months. A home that was not ready and prepared, not perfect, because she did not know better then. What she ate, drank, inhale, and rubbed on her skin, her total lifestyle....everything reached me in her womb through the umbilical cord. Her food allergies became partly mine. Foods ext. that stressed her body, stressed mine. Yes, I did not forget the part of my father, DNA and genetics.

Why do I believe this? History and the present just made sense to me, stimulated by the newest research. I look at my mother's life/health, at my own and now at my little 8 year old girl. It just make sense! "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!"...then your baby will be what you ate and she will be what she ate.

Helpful places for healthy products in Saudi Arabia

Hi everybody!

As I went through my old mail...I came across this e-mail from a lovely Saudi lady that "live like us"..."You are what you eat". Now, I did not try out these shops myself. When I do I will let you know.
Just something or an opinion or an experience to share with you all.

Abazeer have some lovely products, but I am not so sure if it is the real deal and if they repack products, imported and just put it under their lables. They do not put in detailed ingredients on the stickers as well. I have been sick after a few different products since there was not stated that it contains hidden sugars or gluten ext and I am allergic to any form of cane sugar/gluten ext. A few people had shared the same thought with me. So maybe just make sure that it is really gluten free ext.

I wrote to Danube Jeddah last week. Just to ask if they could think about importing more raw products or singled ingredients. All and well you find all these flours and readymade mixes and gluten free products, but if you have food allergies one ingredient made it impossible to buy and eat the product. It would be lovely to bake and create on our own. I was not very positive to get any feedback, but it is worth the try. Who has contacts within any supermarket in Jeddah?

I have so many amazing blogs and recipes, but you can only do it if you order from amazon.com or bring a load full in your suitcase and it will only last a month or so...what is the use of it all????

Please share your shopping experience with all of us if you have found natural products somewhere?

The Relationship Between Gluten and Fibromyalgia, ADHD, and Anxiety

Did you know that many people with symptoms of fibromyalgia are misdiagnosed by their doctor as having other health conditions, in which they are then put on a prescription for that condition?

Do you or your child have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)?
Here's your prescription: Vyvanse or Adderall.

How about anxiety attacks? Prescription: Diazepam (Valium).
Rheumatoid arthritis? Prescription: Prednisone or Celebrex.
Pay on your way out, and have a nice day.

Here’s what could possibly be your prescription instead: STOP EATING GLUTEN!

LET ME BE CLEAR... Do not stop your medication without the help of a physician. There is no shame in taking medication that is targeted and necessary. However, many of our patients discover that they don’t need as much medication (and sometimes any medication) when they learn to use food as medication.

In this video, Kelly Patterson, a concerned mom, asks: "What is your opinion on the relationship of gluten to conditions such as fibromyalgia, ADHD, and anxiety?"
(HERE IS A VIDEO ON EMAIL, WILL FORWARD ON EMAIL).

Without getting too scientific, gluten (a Latin word meaning "glue") is a protein that gives bread its airy and fluffy texture and dough its sticky texture.

Gluten is also used as a stabilizing agent in many processed foods, such as salad dressings and mayonnaise. It’s in almost everything from beauty products to packaged foods to medications and supplements. (That’s right, medications!)

In this video, I explain to Kelly how gluten can cause chaos in her body, starting in the intestinal lining, causing "leaky gut."

Watch as I give a list of diseases and other health issues that gluten is associated with--with the main one being fibromyalgia.

If you or you know someone who has pain all over his or her body, along with headaches, joint problems, fatigue, sleep, memory or mood issues, you are going to want to watch this video!
Warmly,
